PUM is short for Purus Universal Membrane, a product range which sets its own standard. The PUM works as a mechanical odour trap, using a silicone membrane instead of a traditional water trap. The membrane opens only by the flow of water, and closes when the flow stops. High quality materials guarantees trouble-free use for many years. Made of two-component silicone, the membrane is resistant to both strong chemicals and high temperatures.

PUM washbasin siphons not only effectively block unpleasant odors from the sewage system thanks to the one-way flow. It remains closed when there is no water flow, preventing unwanted odours which otherwise occurs after a long time period of no use.

Thanks to the membrane, the PUM doesn't need a water trap to block bad odors. The silicone membrane closes when the flow stops, and no water trap is needed or takes up space in the bathroom cabinet.

Prevents odour
Any form of condensation water that needs to be channeled indoors, requires a water trap. PUM water traps is the latest solution to the problem of draining irregular and low water flow directly to the sewage system. PUM is a reliable mechanical anti-odour closure that blocks odours even with little or no flow.
Minimal maintenance
PUM solutions for condensation water drainage from AC systems etc. is designed for vertical installation and horizontal. In both cases, install the PUM where it will be easy to reach access for inspection and cleaning. You should also pay special attention to the current of the diaphragm, which should be in line with the direction of drainage of the water.
Slim design
PUM saves space and shortens the assembly time. Compact size and special reductions at both ends allow for snap-fit installation with pipes of 32 and 40 mm diameter. When installing the PUM water trap in a horizontal position, keep a proper slope allowing the drainage of even a small amount of water.
