The purus cutting tool
The Purus cutting tool is a good option for you who want to save time when installing your Purus drain in a wooden joist.
The tool makes it easy to drill a hole in a chipboard or similar. Just measure out the centre of your hole and drill. In just few seconds, the hole gets a perfect recess for the flange of the floor gully.
The Purus cutting tool is available in three different sizes:
- Art. no. 53567: Cutting tool for Ø 80 mm
- Art. no. 53568: Cutting tool for Ø 130 mm
- Art. no. 53569: Cutting tool for Ø 150 mm
The purus knife
Imagine that in a newly built wet room you have just laid a beautiful vinyl flooring and “just” have to cut hole for the floor gully. You’re in a bit of a hurry and think you’re “just” using a regular carpet knife. But then you might slip, or accidentally cut a little diagonally so that the connection around the gully does not get completely tight with the risk of future leakage.
Cut a perfect hole without getting nervous
Equally perfect circular hole cutting every time (available in Ø 80, Ø 130, Ø 150 and Ø 220 mm respectively). It can be reused several times and when you think the knife blade is getting dull, there are replaceable blades to buy as a spare part.
floor gully fixtures
The Midgård installation support should be used when installing Purus floor drains into concrete floors. The Midgård support ensures that the installation meets the recommended tolerance requirements of +/- 2mm for floor drain installations, according to current industry guidelines.
The legs are set for an installation height of 172 mm, but can also be adjusted from 82 mm to 230 mm.
The support feet have four different installation options:
- nail gun and washer
- screw and plug
- nail plug
- EPS fastener and nail or alternatively
The Midgård support is designed to fit all plastic, stainless steel and cast iron Purus floor drains with a grate diameter of 130 mm and 150 mm, as well as gullies in the S-Series.
For installation of the Saga and Rot floor drains, the Bifrost support (which basically consists of 3 legs of the same kind that are part of Midgård) is recommended.
The purus PLATE
The Purus Plate model 2014 is for installation of Purus’ floor gullies into wooden joist floors.
The Purus Plate has two sides: one smooth and one ribbed. The smooth side has built-in falls and is used without a spacer for vinyl flooring. The ribbed side is used for tiled floors with a spacer. The Purus Plate is manufactured in ABS plastic, which can be glued.
